Mr. Garcia received his B.S.N. from Florida International University with High Honors in 1987, was the class Valedictorian, and received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Florida with Honors in 1991. Mr. Garcia has experience in critical care and trauma settings including the Burn Center at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He founded the Law Offices of Arthur Garcia, Jr., P.A. in 1995 where he concentrates on litigation. Mr. Garcia represents victims of personal injury, medical negligence, nursing home abuse and neglect, slip and fall injuries, and victims of injuries caused by defective products. Mr. Garcia is licensed to practice in the State and Federal courts of Florida. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Florida Bar, Dade County Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Florida Justice Association and Miami Dade Justice Association (MDJA) where he has served as a director since 1997. He is currently the MDJA Executive Treasurer and serves on the Executive Board. He has been a frequent lecturer in diverse areas such as Legal Nurse Consulting, Medical Documentation and uncovering fraud, Medical and Demonstrative evidence, and Ethics. Mr. Garcia was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps; Honorable discharge - 1984. Mr. Garcia is rated AV in Mardindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings.
